The goal of this session would be to discuss aging-associated changes in skeletal muscle, bone and cartilage and how they contribute to overt disease. Mechanisms of cellular and extracellular aging in these connective tissues would also be addressed to reveal similarities that might represent promising targets for pharmacological and neutraceutical intervention
