Professor Sami L. Bahna is professor of pediatrics and medicine and chief of the Allergy/Immunology Section at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport, Louisiana. He graduated and completed his PhD in Egypt. He serves on numerous international committees and has received multiple distinguished awards. He has been an invited speaker to many international scientific meetings. Dr. Bahna served on several NIH committees and three terms on the Executive Committee of the AAP-Section on Allergy & Immunology. He is author or co-author of more than 270 publications and he is frequently invited as visiting professor at major institutions and speaker at major national and international meetings.
