Marina Atanaskovic Markovic

 

Marina Atanaskovic-Markovic is associate professor of pediatrics and allergy at School of Medicine, University of Belgrade. She works also at University Children’s Hospital of Belgrade. Her professional training consisted of a specialist training in pediatrics (University Children’s Hospital of Belgrade, 1994-1997), completed master’s (1996) and PhD (2001) thesis as well as finished sub-specialization in allergology and clinical immunology (2002) at School of Medicine, University of Belgrade. She has been considered a European Pediatric Allergologist according to the standards set by the Education and Training Committee-Pediatric Allergology and the Section on Pediatrics of the Europen Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology in 2007.She won the award for best young scientists of the republic of Serbia (2002).

She has more than 200 publications on allergy and pediatrics, and her research output has been highly cited. She is invited to speak at major national and international meetings. She is a member of International and National societies such as EAACI (European Academy of Allergology and Clinical Immunology), ACAAI (American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology), BSACI (British Society for Allergy & Clinical Immunology), WAO (World Allergy Organization), ENDA (European Network for Drug Allergy, WONDA (World Network for Drug Allergy) and UAKI (Serbian Association of Allergologists and Clinical Immunologists).

She is a member of the editorial board of the student journal Medical Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, and Ad hoc refer for jourmals such asPediatric Allergy and Clinical Immunology, Allergy, Clinical Drug Investigation, Expert Opinion on Drug Safety,International Journal of Immunopathology and Pharmacology, Adis International.....
