David Cornblath, MD,

Dr. David Cornblath received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University. He completed his internship in medicine at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio followed by a residency in neurology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He then became Clinical Fellow of the Muscular Dystrophy Association in the Peripheral Nerve Morphology Laboratory also at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He joined the Faculty at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1982 where he is now Professor of Neurology and Neurosurgery.

Dr. David Cornblath focuses on neuromuscular diseases with special emphasis on peripheral neuropathies. He has participated in a wide range of clinical studies from Phase 1 to 4. He is Secretary/Treasurer of the Peripheral Nerve Society and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of the peripheral Nervous System. He is on the Board of Directors of the GBS-CIDP Foundation International and the Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy.
